AHP and TOPSIS as methods assessing the attractiveness of urban parks: The case of Lodz, Poland

Urban parks are significant elements that improve the quality of life in built-up areas. This research aims to identify most attractive park Lodz, Poland, using a set assessment indicators. In our opinion, decision-making process assessing attractiveness urban may be assisted by Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA). Two methods were chosen from MCDA group, namely Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Technique for Order Preference Similarity Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). The shows proposed reveal which needs support calls investment.
